BIOGRAPHY / PHILOSOPHY

I have always loved taking photos, though for a long time, life’s circumstances led me to put my camera aside.

I returned to photography only a few years ago, and it felt like satisfying a need of the soul.

For me, street photography is a continuous journey of self-discovery through observing the world around us.

Indeed, I believe that a part of us is always present in every photograph we take.

I prefer not to feel bound by trends or dogmas.

I believe that a moving shot can be captured using any type of equipment.

I strongly believe that a significant photograph is defined by the photographer, not the camera.

I always try to follow my instincts and respect the subject, preserving the spontaneity of the moment as much as possible.

Street photography also involves a constant quest for a stroke of luck, since capturing a spontaneous moment relies largely on the fortune of witnessing it unfold in real time.

The skill lies in creating the conditions to capture and do justice to that moment.

-

A street photographer is simply a witness to light, shadow, and all the humanity that exists between them.
