Taking part in The Road Photographer exhibitions this year has been a real treat. Matteo and Luca and their team organized everything from the printing and display to promoting the exhibitions through social media; this made it simple to participate without hassle.

I love to have had the opportunity to see my image showing in the gallery among those of the other talented photographers in the group and then to have been invited back for a much lengthier showing.

Though I didn’t meet the other photographers in person, this event brought my attention to their work and vice versa and ensured that it was more widely seen. Much gratitude.

As this was my first personal experience with participation in an exhibition, I don’t have anything real to compare it to, so it’s difficult to give a star rating. On the basis of ease of participation and your amazing reactivity I’d like to give it top marks but cannot ignore a couple of minor frustrations (relative to what I would have hoped for), eg, the impossibility to include accompanying text, like a title or description for example, with the image (alongside the QR code), and the absence of a designated gathering  time to target for the possibility of a low-key meet-and-greet of participating photographers  (difficult though I suppose given the international mix and varied travel plans). If I must submit a star rating, I’d give 4 stars.

No critiche non ne ho perché comunque siete stati sempre di parola; trovo però che il prezzo ad esposizione a mio avviso è alto, secondo me una cifra adeguata deve essere attorno ai 150 euro.

Altra cosa che farei ( anche se QR code è figo ) darei un titolo ad ogni fotografia, con una breve spiegazione.

Sono stato invitato a esporre mie foto, in alcune occasioni, dallo staff di theroadphotographer, gia' dall'inizio, pur non conoscendoli direttamente, abbiamo immediatamente stabilito una bella sintonia e la collaborazione ha dato a me diverse soddisfazioni; il clima e' sempre stato cordiale e le location dove si sono svolte le esposizioni sempre all'altezza delle mie aspettative.

In April 2025, I participated in an exhibition at CAFE GALLERY BINDA5 in Milan.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t be there in person, but that wasn’t a problem. From registration to the end of the exhibition, I was kept constantly informed, and all my questions were answered promptly.

During the exhibition, I received photos and all the information via Instagram.

Everything went perfectly.

I can only thank the organizers, Matteo Pioltelli and Luca Mirelli, and I highly recommend participating.
