BIOGRAPHY / PHILOSOPHY

I have been taking photographs since 2006.

Out of pure intuition, I found my way to photography, even though I had no prior connection to it until that point. I started out classically with the analog photography, until I eventually made the leap to my first digital SLR camera.
As a self-taught photographer, I taught myself every detail of my craft - driven by pure passion and the urge to tell stories visually.
Step by step, I built my business until I finally stood in my own studio.

From 2008 to 2016, I was fully immersed in the business and event industry, shooting weddings, families and actor portraits.
Following a career break to raise my children, I returned to my work with even greater freedom.

Today, I can focus entirely on what I want to photograph, rather than what I have to.

This shift had made my passion for photography grow even deeper and more vibrant.

People. Moments. And everything in between.

For 20 years, I have been accompanying people to show themselves as they truly are.

Without masks, without rigid staging - but instead with a deep feeling for the essential.
My view of people - when I am out with my camera, I don´t look for the perfect smile, but for the genuine sparkle in the eyes.

I love photographing people and faces - portraits are a matter close to my heart.

A picture is successful when you don´t just recognize yourself in it, but feel yourself in it.
It is that one brief moment.
In addition to my commercial work, my heart beats for independent, documentary projects.

I am fascinated by making social nuances and perceived niches of life visible.

My goal is to sharpen the focus with my images and to make worlds of life visible that are otherwise often overlooked.

With my photographs, I share something in the hope that people might "hear" the stories behind them.
To me, photography means capturing the essence of a personality.

I want to create photographs that reflect expressions, life, character, naturalness, individuality and creativity.

I want to take people into the world of photographic art in my own way, tailored to them.
In a world that is becoming faster and more polished, my photography is a plea for the authentic.

Every day I learn anew: the most beautiful pictures do not com from instructions, but from trust.
